Metalworld is excited to announce its media partnership with the GREAT DIECASTING TECHNOLOGY FORUM & FORGING TECHNOLOGY FORUM, uniting to present a significant event from December 1 to 3 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. This event will focus on the latest technologies for future growth and feature more than 120 exhibitors showcasing their upcoming technologies.
Simultaneously, two conferences will take place: one for the Aluminium Diecasting Industry and another for the Forging Industry. In Convention Hall A, there will be the International Conference on Aluminium Casting Technology with the theme “Preparing for the Next…,” while Convention Hall B will host the International Conference on Forging Technology with the theme “Change for the Future.” Each conference will feature 22 papers presented over three days.
Every day, there will be a panel discussion on various topics such as the future of MSME foundries, key capabilities for developing export markets, and human resource and skill development. The panelists will include representatives from government offices like EEPC, NSDC, MSME, banks, and entrepreneurs.
The organizers have made a special effort to invite job seekers, from 10th-grade students to engineering students, to the exhibition. A special presentation will be held to inform them about “Career Opportunities” in the Aluminium Castings and Forging Industry.
Another notable initiative is the Buyer-Seller meet, with over 20 buyers participating and engaging in one-to-one meetings. Additionally, the organizers are hosting a one-day visitor delegation of shop floor engineers from Coimbatore to expose them to new technologies.
This event is expected to benefit over 400 participants and 1000 visitors. The inaugural function will have esteemed guests, including Mr. Ganesh Mani, Chief of Operation (COO) of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD., and Dr. Shankar Venugopal, Vice President of MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA MAHINDRA RESEARCH VALLEY CHENNAI. The keynote speaker will be Mr. S. Ravi, Chairman & Managing Director of CRAFTSMAN AUTOMATION LTD. The valedictory function will feature Mr. Vivek S Joshi, President & Chief Executive Officer of SUNDARAM-CLAYTON LIMITED, and Mr. Sridhar Krishnamoorthy, Managing Director of ARJAS STEEL PVT LTD.
